The Orlando Eye opened its doors to the public on May 4, 2015. Standing at a height of 400 feet, The Orlando Eye quickly became one of Orlando's most recognizable landmarks, offering visitors stunning panoramic views of the city's skyline, including nearby attractions. The Orlando Eye is located right next door to SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium and Madame Tussauds Orlando at Icon Park. 

Fun Facts: 

  • Standing at 400 ft, The Orlando Eye is the tallest observational wheel on the North American east coast. 
  • The Orlando Eye weighs approximately 3,000,000 pounds, which is equivalent of over 12 fully loaded space shuttles. 
  • With over 63,000 LED Lights, The Orlando Eye can be seen from miles away at night.
  • During construction, over 150 forty-foot trailers were used to ship all of The Orlando Eye’s components to be installed on site. 
  • From the top of The Orlando Eye, your view includes Orlando's skyline, theme parks, lakes and lush landscape, and on a clear day, views of Cape Canaveral on the east coast.
